- A member was experiencing problems with her washing machine door. Initially, the manufacturer refused to assist her. After a Provider Attorney wrote a letter on her behalf, the manufacturer agreed to pay $130 to repair the washing machine door.
- A member’s father passed away and per his wishes the member arranged for a traditional funeral. Unfortunately, the funeral home did not provide a traditional funeral as requested. The member contacted her Provider Law Firm in order to obtain assistance. Although there wasn’t a written contract stipulating a traditional funeral, attorney offered to write a letter. When the funeral home agreed to reimburse the member $1,451 the member called the Provider Law Firm to let them know how grateful she was for their efforts.
- A member was terminated from her employment. The member believed that her termination was due to an injury suffered on the job and a subsequent worker’s compensation claim. A Provider Firm wrote a letter on the member’s behalf alleging that the member’s termination was retaliation for her filing a worker’s compensation claim. The opposing party agreed to settle the matter by paying the member $15,000 while also allowing her to separately pursue her worker’s compensation claim. The member was very happy. - A member had a checking account with a bank that was erroneously overcharging him $2.95 per month. When notified of this error, the bank agreed to credit the member for two months but would not go back further. That’s when the member called his Provider. The Provider Attorney wrote a letter on his behalf and shortly thereafter the bank agreed to credit the member for all the erroneous charges for a total of $100.30.
- A Minnesota member was underpaid for a job she had performed. After her repeated attempts to obtain the agreed upon salary from the opposing party were unsuccessful, she contacted Wagner Falconer & Judd. A Provider Attorney wrote a letter to the opposing party demanding that they pay the money owed. Within a few days, the opposing party paid the additional $10.00 owed to the member. - When an insurance company failed to pay life insurance benefits to a Wisconsin member the member called Wagner Falconer & Judd. A Provider Attorney wrote the insurance company explaining to them that the member was listed as a beneficiary under his uncle’s life insurance policy and demanded that the benefits be paid. Shortly thereafter the insurance company agreed to pay the member approximately $8,200.00.
